The Nokia 6, one of the most eagerly anticipated smartphones, is finally making its way to India. The device, like all modern Nokia smartphones, has been manufactured by Finnish company HMD Global, which has the rights to the Nokia brand name. A date has now been fixed, August 23, on which an Amazon India exclusive flash sale will introduce the device to the country. The Nokia 6 is the only online-exclusive Nokia device in India, unlike the Nokia 3 and the Nokia 5.

The Nokia 6 will cost Rs. 14,999 in India. For Amazon Prime users who buy the device with their Amazon Pay balance, there will be a Rs. 1000 cash back. Other offers include Vodafone users who will get 10GB of data every month at Rs. 249 per month for 5 months only on the new Nokia 6. Lastly, the buyers also stand to get 80% off on Kindle eBooks (up to a maximum of Rs. 300) as well as Rs. 2,500 off on Makemytrip.com. This includes Rs. 1,800 off on hotels & Rs. 700 off on domestic flights as well.
Nokia 6 Specs and Features
The Nokia 6 is an exceedingly powerful phone and also has a good form factor. One of the first things that hit you are the neat 5.5-inch full-HD 2.5D screen. It has Corning Gorilla Glass protection and a fingerprint sensor as well. At the heart of the device is the Snapdragon 430 SoC, which is coupled with 3GB of RAM. The device will run on the latest Android 7.0 Nougat. Native storage Capacity is 32GB, which can be expanded via a dedicated microSD card slot to up to 128GB. The device is powered by a 3,000 mAh battery.
