HMD Global is currently developing two high-end handsets – Nokia 8 and Nokia 9. Sincerely, the first of the devices has been confirmed briefly. Mistakenly, HMD published the Nokia 8 page on its Chinese website which was promptly removed after a while.
Reportedly, even as HMD Global was busy in trying to remove the published page of Nokia 8, a Chinese web services company, Baidu, posted a screenshot of the originally published page. The image that was briefly published by HMD Global indicates that we may expect Nokia to stay with their previous motto in “connecting people” with the much-anticipated smartphone, Nokia 8.
Manufactured to re-create the new generation of Nokia phones, HMD Global is recently selling affordable Nexus-like devices running Android‘s vanilla version. As some have pointed out, the refurbished Nokia line is looking to be more interesting than the old devices in its range. Much to the delight of potential buyers, the assault to be prepared by HMD Global is likely to be a killer of flagship handsets of Samsung, Apple and more.
As per speculations, Nokia 8 is likely to bring a similar design like the cheaper Nokia 6 and Nokia 5. With optic aspects, we have gathered the handset to sport a dual rear camera on its back panel. While identical hardware capabilities might get unfolded as that of Samsung Galaxy S8, display wise, it might roll out with 5.3-inch QHD screen size.
We had earlier reported about Nokia 8 which was spotted online with a new silver variant, besides gold/copper and gold/blue as per envisions. Expect the device to be powered by the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 SoC (an octa-core processor clocked at 2.45 GHz) under the hood, with a RAM of 4 GB alongside an internal storage of 64 GB.
