We are already aware of the LG V30’s release date. This latest flagship of LG’s ‘V’ series is set to be one of the best devices ever launched by the South Korean giant. Now that the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 has finally been released, the LG V30, set to be one of its arch rivals, is making all the right noises in all the right quarters. A few live images have now surfaced showing off the device in minute detail.
The new official photographs show off the elongated display of the LG V30. We have previously reported how this new device will have a splendid Fullvision display and will come with a ‘floating bar,’ instead of the secondary display which had been the hallmark of the ‘V’ series phones till last year. The floating bar will don the mantle of the secondary display and will have shortcuts to various often-used apps and other features. Such a feature will be unique among all mobile phones available nowadays. To access this floating bar, one simply has to tap on the transparent arrow on the top-left corner of the device.
The bottom of the device, as showed off by the image above, shows off what is apparently a USB-C port alongside an external speaker. Even though the new Google operating system, Oreo, has already been launched, we expect that the new V30 will come with Android Nougat preinstalled. LG promises, however, that this new handset will be one of the first devices to be upgraded to the new OS.
Speaking of other features, the new LG device will be a photographer’s delight, as it is set to roll out with a larger optic aperture compared to other phones. We have already reported the other details, including the presence of the Snapdragon 835 SoC and the 4 or 6GB RAM on board. Stay tuned for what is destined to be a worthy opponent of the Apple iPhone and the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 series.
