After dealing so many troubles and criticism, finally, Apple is switching to Google from Bing. It was a thing, much needed for Apple users, and finally, users’ satisfaction regarding the world’s top brand will reach the zenith. The voice assistant of Apple will go to the Google, for the search engine to assist the users. This is a welcome change no doubt! Bing, one of the leading search engines and responsible for one out of three searches in the USA, is taking a back seat now. But Google is still holding its records for being the leading search engine, thus the combination of the two leading brands will definitely bring an extraordinary experience to the users. As Apple declares they are in good terms with both Microsoft and Google, and claims that, the change is only part of a needed change for the brand, we are waiting eagerly to witness it.
It is stated from the authority that “Switching to Google as the web search provider for Siri, Search within iOS and Spotlight on Mac will allow these services to have a consistent web search experience with the default in Safari,”
There will be certain things to keep in mind while Apple is switching from Siri. The behavior and the tone of the voice assistant in few cases may vary, while Bing will still assist to search the images, Google will work for the general searches and of course, the videos. HomePod will also search through Google, though it is not released yet. There is another news too, and that is the fans of Microsoft’s search engine, will not be able to change the system back, but can ask Siri to Bing information and not Google it directly.
There is no doubt that this will affect the market of Bing and though it is hugely popular in the USA, as after switching to Bing search for last three years, Apple’s decision definitely has a valid reason!
