By now, one may get the hints that we are going into the depths of talking at length about two of the hotly-anticipated devices which launched a day before- the Google Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL. If the recent reports are anything to by, Google Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL will globally be shipped from October 31. This news consists of one good news for the Indian fans. The Google Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL will be available via Flipkart over 1,000 stores across India from November 1 and November 15 respectively.
Google Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL Key Specs and Features
In the design language, Google Pixel 2 features a 5-inch Cinematic 127-mm full-HD display along with a screen resolution of 1080×1920 pixels. Whereas, the Pixel 2 XL device flaunts an extended 6-inch QHD+ P-OLED with a screen resolution of 2880 x 1440 pixels and an aspect ratio of 18:9.
Under the hood, both the smartphones house the Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 SoC coupled with 4GB of RAM. Both the Google Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL handsets sport 64GB and 128GB storage variants each. While the Pixel 2 device is powered by a 2700mAh battery, the Pixel 2 XL comes with a more powerful battery of 3520mAh capacity.
On the optics front, both Google Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL offers industry-best camera sensors. Both the smartphones reportedly feature the 12.2-megapixel rear camera alongside an aperture of f/1.8. Other features also include optical and electronic image stabilization. Whereas, the selfie shooter sports an 8-megapixel camera with an aperture of f/2.4.
Google has also incorporated the ‘Active Edge’ technology with the next generation Google Pixel smartphones. As per pricing, Google Pixel 2 will be available with a price tag of Rs. 61,000 and Rs. 70,000 for the 64GB variant and 128GB variant respectively. While on the other hand, the Pixel 2 XL will be priced at Rs. 73,000 and Rs. 82,000 for the 64GB variant and 128GB variant respectively.
