OnePlus 5T Key Specs and Features

One of the major highlights of the smartphone is its display that features a 6.01-inch Full HD+ Optic AMOLED size with an aspect ratio of 18:9. The device sports a screen to body ratio of  80.5 percent and also comes with DCI-P3 color coverage. On top, there’s a protection of Corning Gorilla Glass 5, reports GizmoChina. As the company has incorporated a large display size, the device comes sans home button. This results in a rear-mounted fingerprint reader.

Interestingly, OnePlus 5T comes with  “Face Unlock” feature, which has more than 100 identifiers for differentiating faces, albeit it lacks the ultimate security. Underneath its hood, the OnePlus 5T houses a Snapdragon 835 processor. And as discussed earlier, the device comes in two variants, while one comes with 6GB RAM with 64GB of internal storage, the other sports 8GB of RAM with 128GB of native storage.

On the optics front, there’s the same 16-megapixel primary sensor large f/1.7 aperture. The secondary telephoto lens has been replaced the 20-megapixel sensor in order to deliver better low-light photography specs. OnePlus has implemented the “Intelligent Pixel Technology” that groups pixels together while capturing low-light shots. The smartphone is fueled by a 3,300mAh battery. OnePlus 5T comes sans wireless charging and thus supports Dash Charging (nothing unlike its predecessors).

As per pricing, OnePlus 5T comes in two price variants- while the 6GB RAM and 64GB internal storage variant come with a price tag of $499, the model with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage is priced at $559 (alike to its predecessor).
