If the latest report is anything to go by, Huawei’s sub-brand Honor has seemingly confirmed that the company will launch its much-awaited Honor 9 Lite on December 21. Now, how does the company came forth with such a confirmation? To go into the depths of whats and ifs, we need to clarify that Huawei has come up with a launch event and the unique invitation apparently confirms December 21 launch of the device.
We have seen how the sketchy details of Honor 9 Lite indicated that the device was scheduled for December 13 launch date. But that is just not the case as far as the Honor 9 Lite device is concerned. Even after reporting on this, we got hands on the TENAA certification of Honor 9 Lite which clearly indicated some of the key specs of the device. However, the company didn’t come to the fore with any such confirmation, until now.
From what we have gathered via this report, the launch invite comes with a pair of glass frame besides a printed card that contains the date and venue. A teaser has also been included on the invitation card which suggests that the device will come with AI features. While this is something really exciting for fans, more amusement lies in the glass frame which teases that Honor 9 Lite will sport dual cameras.
According to Honor 9 Lite’s TENAA listing, the device is expected to be launched in two different variants. While the base model of the device with 3GB of RAM paired with 32GB of internal storage will come with a lower price tag, the more premium variant 4GB RAM and 64GB of internal storage will have a higher price tag.
The Honor 9 Lite is believed to be a watered-down version of the previously launched Honor 9, but no matter how trimmed down version it is supposed to be, the smartphone is expected to retain the full-screen design. More news awaits, so one may stay tuned for further updates.
