Entry-level Nokia 1 Android Oreo Go phone, as dubbed, is HMD Global’s mobile next device which is likely to make landfall in March 2018. The device was in the news when Eldar Murtazin, a Russian journalist, posted a tweet, “Nokia 1 – Android Go, 5990. HD, IPS, 1/8gb – пристойный корпус. Март. Пока сырой. У Хуавея такой же и цена 4990 или 5490, еще не решено,” and made the news public (as reported here). Possible news now hints us at the fact that the entry-level Nokia 1 Android Go Oreo device apparently has been leaked via few photos.
Fresh renders surfaced online points out the rear panel of this alleged device. Two similar looking photos have been shown off. The first photo indicates that this Nokia handset is placed inside a case, while on contrary, the other one shows the actual handset. Design wise, the device is expected to be made up of plastic, reports GizmoChina. The rear panel consists of a LED flash.
According to more possibilities, the Nokia 1 Android Oreo Go mobile device is expected to carry a support for HD screen resolution of 720 x 1280 pixels. While the size of the screen has not yet been confirmed, we expect it to be not less than 4.5 inches (apparently).
Underneath its hood, we expect this Nokia device to be driven by Snapdragon 212 chipset, which is present under the hood Nokia 2 device. On the software front, the device will run the Android Go operating system, which is nothing but just a lighter version of Android Oreo operating system. Features that Android Go are Go apps such as YouTube, Gmail, Maps, Google app, Play Store, and the likes.
