HMD Global, the Finnish manufacturing giant which holds the rights to the Nokia brand, has said that it is planning something big for the Mobile World Congress or MWC 2018, to be held in Barcelona, Spain, from February 26. It is only reasonable to expect the Nokia 9, which is the next big flagship offering. The Nokia 9 has been reported by us to arrive with dual rear cameras.
Given that several companies have stated that they will flash their wares at the MWC 2018, we would be disappointed if the Nokia 9 did not show up sometime during the week of the MWC.
Besides, what makes us even more expectant to see something big at the MWC 2018 s what the HMD Global’s Chief Product Officer, Juho Sarvikas, said on Twitter. Just check out his tweet and see if we are wrong in expecting something big.
Besides the Nokia 9, we are likely to see a whole new range of smartphones to be launched across the world. The Finnish giant, we believe, may also launch the Nokia 4, the Nokia 7 (to be only released in China), and the Nokia 8 (2018). The fan favorite Nokia 3310 4G variant is reportedly in the pipeline as well, since we spotted it on the TENAA certification site. Interestingly, the Nokia 6 (2018) was the first Nokia phone of this year, launched slightly earlier.

As you know, the Nokia 9 is expected to be the greatest trick ever pulled by Nokia. It will most definitely be a flagship and will have terrific spec and features. The most guessable ones are the 5.5-inch OLED display and the presence of the Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 SoC, the company’s 2017 flagship chipset. Expect 12MP and 13MP rear camera sensors alongside 128GB of internal storage capacity. With a 3,250mAh battery with fast charging support and with Android 8.0 Oreo right out of the box, the new Nokia 9 will be a major launch.
