Chinese tech giant Xiaomi is poised to launch a next-generation budget smartphone, the Redmi Note 5 soon. But before that, it is anticipated that the company is going to launch a new crowd-funded product. While there is not much information about the product right now, a teaser posted by the company on the Chinese microblogging website Weibo has revealed that Xiaomi’s Mi Home is all set to launch the product, which is going to become the 153rd crowd-funded product on February 1.
From the teaser image posted, it is likely that the product to be launched may be a camera based product. The reason for the above deduction is because the translation of the Chinese text as seen on the image reads “human eye” and “120 frames per second” as per a report by MyDrivers. Another teaser leaked by a well known Chinese VR company Shanghai Hantu Technology (XPRINT) has words such as “AR technology” “phone” “mobile” “photo” and “video” on it.
Going by these two leaked teasers, we can deduce that the product to be launched tomorrow maybe some kind of portable printer that is going to use the AR Technology. Making use of this advanced technology, the printer is expected to enable its users to embed a video on a printed photograph. It is also revealed that when you point your smartphone at a photograph, the product is going to play a short video about the events that took place before the photo was clicked.
Well, as of now, after going through this information that we have at hand now, we can expect some sort of portable printer, like a pocket-sized printer to be launched tomorrow.
