Motorola recently launched the Moto G6 series and Moto E5 series of smartphones globally. While the Moto G6 series is expected to be rolled out in India on June 4, the rumored Moto Z3 Play is expected to be unveiled on June 6 in Brazil. Apart from these updates, there are fresh reports that the Chinese company is currently working on an Android One smartphone that may arrive with a display notch.
Folks at AndroidHeadlines have shared a render of the alleged Motorola Moto One Power smartphone. The leaked render shows an iPhone X like design with a display notch on the top and an edge-to-edge front panel display screen. The notch is shown to have two circular holes which may house the image sensors and an earpiece.
Talking about the rear panel of the device, the render reveals that the smartphone may sport a dual rear camera module and a fingerprint sensor along with the Motorola brand logo. The two cameras are expected to be aligned vertically like the Apple iPhone X. Apart from that, the Android One branding can also be clearly seen on the bottom of the rear panel. A USB Type-C charging port and a speaker grill can also be seen near the bottom of the rear panel of the device.
To recall, this is not the first time that Motorola will be launching an Android One based smartphone. It had launched the Moto X4 Android One last year with support for Google’s Project Fi. However, unlike the Moto X4 that was only available in the US, the Moto One Power is expected to be rolled out for the global public and not just the US.
As of now, the pricing and availability details of the smartphone is unknown. Also, there is no information about the internal specifications of the smartphone. Details about the smartphone are expected to be made available as time goes by and we are also expecting an official word from the company.
