Motorola Moto E5 Gets Listed on Amazon with a Price Tag of Rs 10,770

Chinese smartphone manufacturer Motorola had unveiled the Moto E series lineup of devices alongside the Moto G6 series back in April. While the Moto G6 lineup which includes the standard Moto G6, Moto G6 Plus, and the Moto G6 Play was released in India, there was no update regarding the release date of the Moto E5 handset. But, now it seems that the smartphone may be launched in the country soon.

This is because the Moto E5 has been listed on e-commerce website Amazon and it comes with a price of Rs 10,770. Although there is no surety about the price as the device is yet to be confirmed by the company. Apart from that, a promotional poster of the Moto E5 was also spotted at a retail store in Delhi by folks at TechPP which further confirms the possibility of the launch of the device in India soon.

However, Motorola is yet to reveal the launch date of the Moto E5 in the country and no information on the pricing front is available either. The promotional poster spotted in Delhi revealed that the smartphone will arrive with a massive 4,000mAh battery under the hood and also feature 18:9 Max Vision display.

To recall the specifications of the device, the Moto E5 comes with a 5.7-inch full HD IPS display with a screen resolution of 1440 X 720 pixels and an aspect ratio of 18:9. The smartphone is powered by a modest Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 SoC coupled with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of inbuilt storage space. The internal storage can be further upgraded with the help of a micro-SD card up to a maximum of 256GB.

On the imaging front, the Moto E5 features a 13-megapixel sensor on the rear panel that can record videos at full HD 1080p resolution. On the front, it features a 5-megapixel sensor that boasts the same capability as the rear camera. Connectivity options include dual-SIM 4G, dual band WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS and USB Type-C port. It also features a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor. Powered by a massive 4,000mAh battery, it runs on Android 8.0 Oreo out of the box.
