Google is expected to launch the next iteration of its Pixel series of flagship devices in October this year. Dubbed as Google Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL, the smartphones are expected to arrive with top-notch specifications to challenge its competitors like Samsung, LG, Vivo, and Oppo. Over the past few weeks we have seen several leaks of the Pixel 3 and the Pixel 3 XL devices and now a massive leak has appeared online to reveal the key specifications, live images and the retail box of the Google Pixel 3 XL.
The live images courtesy of PhoneArena gives us a clear view of the upcoming flagship device from Google and the retail box shows the bundled contents that will arrive with the smartphone.
A Twitter user by the name of Wylsacom has leaked a batch of live images of the Google Pixel 3 XL that reveals both the front and the back panel of the device. Talking about the front panel first, it features a notch at the top of the display similar to the iPhone X. The display notch houses the front-facing camera and the earpiece along with an infrared sensor that will be used for facial recognition.
Coming to the rear panel, the device features an identical design to its predecessor, Google Pixel 2 XL. It sports a single rear camera with an LED flash and a fingerprint sensor. Apart from these, some of the live images also show the About screen and the AIDA64 screenshot. The About screen confirms that the Google Pixel 3 XL will arrive with Active Edge functionality that will allow the users to squeeze the edges of the screen to launch Google Assistant. The AIDA64 screenshot reveals that the device will be fueled by a 3430mAh battery under the hood and will feature a 6.71-inch display screen with a resolution of 2960 X 1440 pixels.
Another source by the name of Rozetked has leaked the retail box of the Google Pixel 3 XL. The leaked image shows that the Pixel 3 XL device will come bundled with headphones. However, the headphones appear to be the Pixel Buds so it cannot be confirmed just yet. Apart from the headphones, the package includes USB Type-C port, USB-A to USB-C adapter, a wall charger and a USB-C to 3.5mm adapter.
