OnePlus is all set to launch its upcoming flagship device, the OnePlus 6T on October 29 at an event to be held in New York City. The smartphone will become the successor to the OnePlus 6 launched earlier this year and includes a slew of new features and specifications. Over these last few months, we have seen several leaks of the alleged smartphone and some reports shading light on its specs. Now with just a few days to go for its official unveiling, the smartphone has been spotted on Geekbench benchmarking site revealing most of its specifications.
As per reports, the Geekbench listing was first spotted by Dutch website Telefoonabonnement.nl. As per the listing, the OnePlus 6T will feature a taller 6.41-inch full HD+ AMOLED display with an aspect ratio of 19.5:9. Notably, this is slightly more than the OnePlus 6 which features a 6.28-inch AMOLED display screen. The smartphone will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845SoC under the hood paired with 8GB RAM and 128GB of inbuilt storage space. The device was earlier spotted to be running on Android 9 Pie so in all likelihood it will ship with Android 9 Pie out of the box.
The Geekbench listing also reveals the single and multi-core test results of the OnePlus 6T. As per the listing, the smartphone has scored 8925 points in the multi-core test and 2387 in the single core test.
On the optics front, the OnePlus 6T will feature a dual rear camera setup with a 16-megapixel primary sensor and a 20-megapixel secondary sensor accompanied by a dual-tone LED flash. The Geekbench listing does not shade any light about the connectivity options of the smartphone however it is expected that the device will feature 4G LTE, Bluetooth 5.0, WiFi 802.11 ac, NFC, GPS and USB Type-C port as connectivity options.
OnePlus has also confirmed earlier that the OnePLus 6T will not feature the customary 3.5mm headphone jack and will sport a teardrop display notch along with an in-display fingerprint sensor for the first time.
