LG Q6 Releasing in India on August 10 For Just Under Rs 20,000

The LG Q6, one of the most eagerly awaited smartphones this year, is finally coming to India. We had earlier reported that the new smartphone would be rolling out in international markets starting in the first week of August. This will be the second LG device after the LG G6 to have a FullVision display. Speaking purely on the basis of specs, the Q6 seems to be a smaller version of the LG G6. This smartphone will be an Amazon-exclusive product.

LG, which is a South Korean giant, has recently unveiled the new device via its official Twitter handle and has also shared an exclusive photo, which shows off the stunning display of the device.

LG Q6 Specs and Features

The new LG Q6 has a very attractive 5.5-inch Full HD+ FullVision display that boasts a screen resolution of 2160 x 1080 pixels. Together with a pixel density of 442ppi or pixels per inch, the widescreen effect will also be on display. One of the most obvious similarities between the LG Q6 and other flagship smartphones like the LG G6 and the Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8+ is the 18:9 aspect ratio, which makes for seamless viewing.

Under the hood is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 435 processor which is mated with 3GB of RAM besides 32GB of internal or native storage. As far as cameras and optics are concerned, the new Q6 has a rear or primary 13MP Standard Angle sensor which will work considerably well, especially when taken in tandem with the front 5MP Wide Angle lens. Juice will be provided by a 3,000mAh, which is non-removable while the device will run on Android 7.1.1 Nougat.

While the poster pins the price tag at Rs 1_,999, we believe that the price tag is likely to be Rs 19,999. Also, the LG Q6 will come in color variants of Astro Black, Ice Platinum, Mystic White, and Terra Gold. We will bring you a review of the device come August 10.
