After the successful launch of Xiaomi‘s Redmi Note 4, the company’s strategy has spectacularly paid off, as the tech giant crossed the $1 billion revenue milestone in the Indian market. The only beast that can replace the same device is its successor, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5. From our news, it was apparent to get hands on the device ahead of November 11. While this is not the news to go by, another report has popped online that suggests an imminent launch of the coming device.
If the latest report is anything to go by, Redmi Note 5‘s new image has been spotted via online retailer JD.com. From the image, the smartphone is tipped to have a full-screen design. Not just that, the device has also been listed for sale with a price tag of 8,888 yuan. While this is something that doesn’t appear to be as authentic as official, the listing alongside the symbolic price of the device indicates that it may launch anytime soon.
Prior to a couple of days, the smartphone was leaked an impressive look that closely suggested that it’ll feature minuscule bezels. Not only that, the news indicates that Redmi Note 5 will feature a 5.99-inch FHD+ display with a screen resolution of 2160 x 1440 pixel and will also support an aspect ratio of 18:9. Underneath its hood, there would be Snapdragon 636 coupled with a RAM of 3GB and an internal storage of 32GB.
On the battery front, Redmi Note 5 is anticipated to be fueled by a powerful battery of 4,000mAh capacity. From reports that we have gathered via its TENAA certification, one may also expect the device to sport full-screen display. In terms of the software, the Redmi Note 5 is expected to run the MIUI 9 on top (in addition, one may check our report on MIUI 188.8.131.52). Xiaomi, being an instrumental manufacturer, by far, has proved to be one of the best selling producers of smartphones. For more news on this very device, one may choose to be glued to us.
